Job Title: Career Adviser & Social Media Influencer (Financial Services)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic Career Adviser with an established social media following in the financial services space to collaborate with us as a 3rd party influencer. The primary responsibility of this role will be to promote, recommend, and advocate for our Recruit, Train & Deploy Internship Program, targeting individuals aiming to enter the financial crime compliance sector.

This is a unique opportunity for a career adviser who is passionate about guiding professionals in financial services, has a strong online presence, and is adept at creating engaging content. The ideal candidate will leverage their social media platform to influence and attract candidates to our internship program, helping them kickstart their careers in the financial crime compliance industry and other FS sectors to come.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:
1. Influence & Promotion
  • Use your social media presence and influence in the financial services sector to promote and recommend our Financial Crime Compliance Internship Program.
  • Develop and share content (e.g., posts, stories, videos) that highlights the benefits of the internship program, including the unique Recruit, Train & Deploy model.
  • Regularly engage with your audience through Q&A sessions, webinars, or social media events, offering career advice and endorsing our internship program as a valuable stepping stone into the financial crime sector.
  • Collaborate with our C-suite's to create video interviews for content
2. Collaboration & Content Creation
  • Collaborate with our marketing team to co-create content such as blogs, videos, LinkedIn posts, and articles that will be shared across both your platform and our channels.
  • Actively participate in joint campaigns, providing valuable career insights and testimonials about the internship program to increase visibility and credibility.
  • Provide personalized recommendations for how candidates can benefit from the internship program, tailored to those aspiring for roles in financial crime compliance, AML, KYC, fraud prevention and regulatory compliance.
3. Career Advising
  • Leverage your expertise as a career adviser in financial services to guide potential candidates on how to apply for the program, what to expect, and how it can boost their career prospects.
  • Offer one-on-one or group sessions for your followers where you provide detailed advice on career paths in financial crime and recommend our internship program as a way to get their foot in the door with leading organisations and gain experience in this field.
  • Provide valuable feedback and insights into the program that will help optimize its positioning for potential candidates based on your industry knowledge.
4. Audience Engagement & Growth
  • Use your influence to grow awareness about financial crime compliance as a career choice, encouraging your followers to explore the sector and apply for our internship.
  • Encourage engagement through polls, interactive sessions, or career-themed challenges related to entering the financial crime and compliance space.
  • Analyze the response from your audience and provide us with feedback to help fine-tune our messaging and outreach strategies.
5. Ambassadorship
  • Act as an ambassador for our brand, ensuring that you authentically promote the program in line with your personal brand and values.
  • Represent the internship program at relevant financial services or career events, either virtually or in-person, when applicable.
  • Maintain transparency and authenticity in your recommendations, ensuring your audience trusts the partnership and views the internship as a valuable and credible opportunity.

  • Social Media Influence: Strong presence and following on platforms such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, or YouTube, with a focus on career advice in the financial services industry.
  • Career Advising Expertise: Proven experience in advising professionals or graduates entering the financial services sector, particularly in areas like compliance, AML, KYC, and regulatory roles.
  • Content Creation: Ability to create engaging and insightful content that resonates with a financial services audience.
  • Communication & Engagement: Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact authentically and build trust with your audience.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of career paths within financial services, particularly within financial crime, compliance, and regulatory spaces.
  • Brand Collaboration: Experience in collaborating with companies or brands in a promotional capacity while maintaining authenticity and trust with your audience.

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in career advising or financial services.
  • A well-established and engaged social media following, ideally with a focus on financial services, career development, and compliance.
  • Proven track record of influencing career decisions or promoting professional development programs within the financial services sector.
  • Experience in collaborating with companies or educational institutions on career-related campaigns is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of financial crime compliance or related fields is highly desirable.
