Location: EU, Ukraine

About the role:

As a PHP/Laravel Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our web solution for the Dutch audiology market using the Laravel framework. You'll be working with a small dedicated team in a big organization to understand project requirements, design and implement solution and ensure the smooth operation our web application.

What will you do:

Develop and maintain web applications using the Laravel framework
Design and implement efficient, scalable and secure code for our web application
Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
Troubleshoot and debug issues in web applications and provide timely resolutions
Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in PHP and Laravel development, and suggest improvements to enhance application performance and usability
Maintain documentation of code and project tasks and contribute to technical specifications

What will you bring:

Proven 4+ yrs experience with PHP web development
Proficient with the Laravel framework
Experience with relational databases like MySQL and ORM (Object Relational Mapping) frameworks like Eloquent
Strong understanding of web application security best practices
Familiarity with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Experience with version control systems, preferably Git
Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services

Would be a plus:

Experience with cloud platforms like Azure is a plus
Familiarity with Linux environment and server administration

You are:

Fluent in English
Strong problem-solver able to find solutions to complex issues
Able to collaborate with development teams across different locations
