Conexess Group is aiding a large healthcare client in their search for an ETL Developer in a remote capacity. This is a long-term opportunity with a competitive compensation package.

Responsibilities:

Work closely with SQL Server ETL/app developers to provide technical guidance and help resolve blockers.
This will include acting as a go-between with DBAs and other teams, setting up meetings with the two parties when necessary, and documenting decisions in JIRA.
Candidate will act as a mentor, suggesting best practices for setting up/altering a DevOps process while migrating servers from one domain to another.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree is required (ideally in Computer Science, though flexible)
Strong ability to work with various levels of stakeholders (clinical and technology, operational and executive etc).
Need to clearly communicate issues between our ETL developers and DBA team when problems come up
Strong understanding of permissions/service accounts
Strong understanding of MS Active Directory Groups
Strong understanding of DevOps process, including GitHub Actions, Octopus, etc.
3-5 years of SQL Server Database back-end developer or DBA experience
3-5 years of intermediate to advanced SQL: T-SQL is a must, Teradata SQL is a plus
1-3 years of experience with automated jobs (Active Batch, SQL Server Agent, ESP, etc.).
Previous hands-on roles in large system conversions or mergers, where it was necessary to analyze all existing processes and ensure no gaps is a plus
