Job description

Job Overview

We are looking for a passionate and driven Content Manager to enhance educational opportunities through the Tennessee Technical Assistance Network (TN-TAN). This remote role offers the chance to collaborate with project managers and leadership in crafting impactful training content that supports educators and families across the state.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the organization, coordination, and management of training materials and digital content.
  • Develop and implement robust processes for the review and management of educational resources, ensuring alignment with the needs of educators and families while adhering to regulatory requirements.
  • Provide expert coaching, training, and consultation to partners and subcontracted experts.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks on TN-TAN activities, ensuring high standards of professional quality and accuracy.
  • Act as the primary liaison for partners and contract managers, facilitating collaboration and project oversight.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional communication abilities, both written and verbal, with experience in managing client relations and delivering presentations.
  • Proven adaptability and innovation in developing policies and procedures.
  • Comprehensive understanding of federal and state laws regarding the education of students with disabilities.
  • Experience in special education programs and services, including content development and review.
  • Proficient in educational technology with a commitment to mastering new tools.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Special Education or a related field.
  • Preferred: Master's Degree in Special Education or a related discipline.
  • In-depth knowledge of special education regulations, services, and evidence-based practices is highly desirable.
