Job Overview

We are on the lookout for a proactive Consulting Product Analyst who possesses a robust background in requirements analysis and gathering. This remote role involves close collaboration with the Payment Compliance Solutions team, where you will assess, analyze, and interpret business systems and user requirements concerning our applications and products. Your analytical insights will steer enhancements in both system functionalities and business processes through tailored software solutions or existing platforms. By meticulously documenting detailed requirements, you will be instrumental in facilitating developers to design solutions that resonate with business objectives and user necessities.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a bridge between business units and IT teams to clearly define and document user requirements and system necessities, ensuring they align with overarching business goals.
• Evaluate and propose modifications to systems and processes to refine business strategies via software solutions.
• Craft comprehensive documentation that details business goals, user requirements, and the technical procedures necessary for solution development or alteration.
• Effectively communicate with software developers to guarantee that solutions meet both business and user expectations.
• Collaborate with project managers and scrum masters to establish project timelines, identify potential risks, and oversee project advancement.
• Assist in formulating quality assurance test plans and user documentation to facilitate seamless solution implementation.
• Act as a second-tier escalation point for troubleshooting system functionalities and resolving issues.
• Engage closely with development and QA teams on product features, enhancements, and bug resolutions.
  
  

Required Skills

• Proven track record in gathering and documenting requirements for business systems and applications.
• Comprehensive knowledge of software development methodologies and experience in articulating technical requirements to development teams.
• Ability to work independently with a high degree of initiative, creativity, and self-management.
• Proficient in establishing strong, collaborative relationships with business units, developers, and other stakeholders.
• Skilled in navigating conflicting requirements and building consensus among diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Experience in designing processes and leading the development, testing, and training stages of projects.
• Solid experience supporting product development, enhancements, and troubleshooting within project teams.
  
  

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in business analysis and product development.
• Prior experience in a product analyst role is preferred.
