Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Digital School Psychologist to join our innovative educational team. In this remote role, you will play a pivotal part in fostering the academic and emotional development of students diagnosed with mild to moderate challenges. Your expertise will contribute significantly to their overall success and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate students’ academic and emotional requirements.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and school staff to create and implement tailored Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Provide remote counseling and interventions aimed at effectively addressing students’ social-emotional issues.
  • Offer advice and support to teachers and parents in managing students’ behavioral difficulties.
  • Engage in the formulation and execution of school-wide initiatives designed to improve the learning environment.
  • Assist in the identification and intervention for learning disabilities and other exceptionalities.
  • Maintain meticulous and current records of evaluations, progress notes, and reports.

Required Skills

  • Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal, to ensure effective collaboration with parents, educators, and school personnel.
  • Proficiency in conducting assessments and developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Comfort with technology and adeptness in utilizing telepractice tools and software.

Qualifications

  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related discipline.
  • An active state license or certification as a School Psychologist.
  • Previous experience in supporting K-12 students diagnosed with mild to moderate challenges.
