Job Description Summary

As a member of the marketing team, this person will write, design and edit content for a variety of projects and mediums, including print, web, mobile, video and social media, working closely with corporate stakeholders and franchisees to brainstorm. They will create visual text and imagery concepts to communicate ideas that inspire, inform and/or captivate consumers. They will convey ideas into copy that persuades an audience to take action. This position typically requires a bachelor’s degree, and reports to the iTrip marketing leader.


What You’ll Do (Functions & Responsibilities)

  • iTrip is a service minded organization. This role serves customers from within the Inhabit organization and externally including current and prospective franchisee, property owners and rental guests. As such all applicants should enjoy collaborating and working with multiple individuals in a fast-paced environment.
  • While primarily a writing and content creation role, familiarity with creating graphics for social media and blog posts using a tool like Canva (or similar) is considered to be highly desirable. Please provide a link to a portfolio of content showing your design skills if design skills are promoted on your application. 
  • Processes and adapts writing style and voice to serve the audience for each piece of content created internalizing feedback to continue to grow and develop a strong and consistent brand voice.
  • Responsible for collaborating and implementing the overall content strategy based on iTrip’s specific goals and objectives. 
  • Creates content daily to drive leads, subscribers, awareness. Examples include blog posts, emails, videos, downloadables, press releases, and other types of content.
  • Uploads approved content to iTrip owned web properties following SEO best practices.
  • Edits and proofreads copy from third-party providers for correct grammar, punctuation, and brand guidelines. A strong attention to detail is required.
  • Assists with franchise onboarding materials and marketing best practices.
  • Grows follower base by creating and posting content on iTrip corporate’s Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn and X (formerly Twitter) accounts. Knows which platform different kinds of content best perform.
  • Pulls monthly marketing performance reports
  • Ensures iTrip franchisees follow brand guidelines in all communications.
Qualifications

What We’re Looking For (Minimum qualifications)

  • Strong writing skills with the ability to write for various audiences
  • Enjoys creating process to maximize output
  • A strong aptitude for interacting with people directly helping them solve problems with a positive attitude and creativity
  • Extensive experience being part of the creation, execution and measurement of marketing campaigns
  • A working understanding of marketing automation and email marketing tools (Marketo preferred but not required)
  • Advanced knowledge of social media platforms and emerging trends
  • General WordPress knowledge
  • A flexible, team-oriented mindset
  • 3 or more years of experience in a marketing content heavy role, preferably in the vacation rental, franchise
     industry, or marketing agency environments.

  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing or related field preferred
