As the Property Development Manager you will facilitate the development of Endeavour Group's owned and leased sites across Australia.

Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role

 

  • Undertake due diligence investigations and assess sites for highest and best use.
  • Complete development feasibility models using Estate Master and present recommendations to the team.
  • Manage financial analysts to keep project specific models up to date.
  • Monitor and evaluate project performance against the baseline financial models prepared as part of the feasibility analysis.  
  • Obtain development permits, including meeting with local councils and State government to understand and negotiate planning and environmental issues.
  • Coordinate and attend meetings with regulatory and public officials for development related matters.
  • Oversee procurement and contracting process for architects, engineers, builders, and other project consultants and formulate recommendations.
  • Lead regular project control group meetings and manage consultant teams.
  • Track project programs and monitor progress and delays.
  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare and present monthly project update reports.
  • Interface with existing teams within Endeavour Group including hotel and retail operations and marketing.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree Development Management, Property, Project Management, or related fields
  • Min 7 years’ experience working for a property development company or a major corporate that has had exposure to large scale mixed-use projects
  • Able to prepare and coordinate development project feasibilities.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • A solid understanding of the planning and development approvals process
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise tasks, work effectively and be a self-starter.
  • Sound judgment, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
