🚀 About the role

Nava is searching for an Account Executive who will lead strategic initiatives for a growing book of business on our east coast team. We are seeking an out of the box thinker with experience designing innovative benefit plan strategies and a track record of maintaining executive level relationships as a trusted client partner. You will be responsible for overseeing a book of large national clients, and be integral in leading annual service plan execution, renewal strategy, and long term strategic planning. Partnering with members of the client success, revenue and operations departments, the Account Executive will bolster Nava’s strategic capabilities so that we can deliver novel benefit solutions for our growing and diversifying client portfolio. 

This is a remote position but preferred candidates will be based in the Tri-State area and possess current experience owning NY large (500-5000 EE's) employer groups.

🚀 What you’ll do
  • Own the Outcome of Your Book of Business: Manage a portfolio of employer groups, collaborating with Partners, Client Managers and Benefits Analysts to manage the service needs of your clients throughout the plan year
  • Strategic Planning and Execution: Lead annual service plan execution, renewal strategy, and long-term strategic planning 
  • Innovate Funding Strategies: Design innovative benefit strategies based on knowledge of the market, carriers and products, including understanding of alternative funding arrangements
  • Create and Present Client Deliverables: Contribute to the creation and presentation of client deliverables such as financial reporting, finalist/renewal presentations, budget reviews, etc.
  • Enhance Strategic Capabilities: Partner with members of the client success, revenue, and operations departments to bolster Nava’s strategic capabilities and deliver novel benefit solutions
  • Develop and Mentor: Actively develop and mentor junior-level colleagues, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment
  • Manage Relationships: Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring high client satisfaction
🚀 What you’ll bring
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in benefits consulting or a related field, with a strong background in managing self-funded and alternative funding strategies
  • Expertise: Deep knowledge of the market, carriers, products, and technical solutions related to medical and Rx funding strategies
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead complex client engagements and mentor junior colleagues
  • Client Relationship Management: Demonstrated success in building and maintaining executive-level relationships as a trusted advisor
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and financial analysis skills, with the ability to design innovative funding strategies
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to create and present client deliverables effectively
  • Educational Background: A bachelor's degree in a related field; advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus
