Job description

Security Operations Analyst (Remote – Latam)

We are looking for a Security Operations Analyst prepared for new and exciting challenges. This professional must have expertise in a organization’s cybersecurity efforts. In this position you will be a critical part in defense against cyber threats, protecting sensitive data and maintain business continuity.

Academic requirements/training:

  • Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Information Security or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a SOC or similar security operations role.
  • Advanced English

Specific security tools and knowledge:

  • SIEM
  • Intrusion detection and prevention systems, firewalls and endpoint protection tools.
  • Network protocols and infrastructure
  • Cloud security principles and best practices
  • Relevant security certifications: CISSP, CISM or GIAC, are a plus.

Required experienced responsibilities:

  • Monitoring and detection various security systems: IDS, IPS, firewalls, antivirus software and SIEM.
  • Incident Response: Analyzing the event, determining the extent and impact of the incident, eradication and recovery efforts.
  • Threat Intelligence: Staying up to date with the latest cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities is crucial.
  • Vulnerability Management
  • Security Incident Documentation
  • Security Policies and Procedures
  • User Education and Awareness
  • Research and Innovation: Keeping up with the latest cybersecurity trends, tools, and techniques to enhance the organization’s security

 

Collaboration scheme
