Job description

This is a remote position.

Overview : 

Exavalu is seeking a seasoned professional to serve as a Senior Business Development and Domain Consultant for our Banking and Financial Services (BFS) practice, focusing on the US and Canadian markets. This role combines new business acquisition with deep domain expertise to drive growth and deliver value in wealth management, consumer lending, and banking sectors.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

1. New Business Development (Hunting):

   - Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the US and Canadian BFS sectors

   - Develop and execute strategic sales plans to penetrate new accounts

   - Build relationships with key decision-makers in target organizations

   - Create and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals

 

2. Domain-Based Consulting:

   - Provide expert consultancy in wealth management, consumer lending, and banking domains

   - Offer strategic insights on industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements

   - Conduct needs assessments and develop tailored solutions for clients' business challenges

   - Act as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding them through digital transformation initiatives

 

3. Sales Strategy and Execution:

   - Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement BFS practice growth strategies

   - Structure and manage complex sales pursuits from initiation to close

   - Analyze market trends and competitor strategies to inform sales approaches

   - Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs

 

4. Solution Development:

   - Work with technical teams to design innovative solutions leveraging Exavalu's expertise in Salesforce, Mulesoft, Pega, SmartComm, Earnix, and AWS

   - Develop thought leadership content to enhance Exavalu's reputation in the BFS sector

   - Participate in industry events and conferences to build brand awareness and share domain knowledge

Requirements

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field; MBA preferred

- 10+ years of experience in business development and domain consulting within the BFS sector, with a strong focus on US clients

- Proven track record of successfully hunting new business and providing domain expertise in the US market

- Deep understanding of wealth management, consumer lending, and banking domains, including regulatory landscapes and operational challenges

- Experience with Salesforce, Mulesoft, Pega, SmartComm, Earnix, or AWS is highly desirable

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage C-level executives

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Willingness to travel to client sites in the US and Canada as needed
