The Role:

DailyPay is looking for an Engineering Manager to join our growing Composition Engineering Team! The Engineering Manager will utilize technical skills to build service oriented architecture that is highly scalable and available to maintain DailyPay’s leading role in the early wage access industry. The mission of the Composition Engineering Org is critical for continuous development and success of the services that power our products. The Engineering Manager should be able to understand, enhance and drive the build of service oriented architecture and associated practices.

How You Will Make an Impact:
  • Design, develop, test, release, and scale new product features
  • Participate in future product direction and help build engineering roadmap
  • Contribute to coding, architecture for multiple projects and provide code reviews
  • Encourage innovation and foster an environment of continuous improvement
  • Communicate with stakeholders, product owners, other technologists, and users to create software based on an understanding of business and technical priorities
  • Manage a team of software engineers and manage their career progression and planning
What You Bring to The Team:
  • 10+ years experience building highly-scalable services.
  • 4+ years experience in a technical or team leadership role
  • Experience in driving, executing, and delivering high-quality technical solutions
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills with the proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Strong experience in developing and scaling web applications
  • Good experience in building and maintaining large, tested, performant codebases

Pay Transparency.  DailyPay takes a market-based approach to compensation, which may vary depending on your location. Additionally, this role may be eligible for variable incentive compensation in addition to stock options. Where a candidate fits within the compensation range for a role is based on their demonstrated experience, qualifications, skills and internal equity.

$78,000$105,000 USD
