The Oracle Fusion Middleware Developer will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of integrations and middleware solutions using Oracle Fusion Middleware technologies. The role involves working with Oracle SOA Suite, BPEL, WebLogic, and other Fusion tools to support business processes and integrate enterprise applications. The developer will collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oracle Fusion Middleware Development:

    • Design, develop, and maintain integrations using Oracle SOA Suite (BPEL, Mediator, OSB), Oracle WebLogic Server, and other Fusion Middleware components.
    • Build and configure web services (SOAP/REST) for data exchange between applications.
    • Create and manage BPEL processes for workflow automation, orchestration, and integration.
  • Middleware Architecture and Integration:

    • Collaborate with business and IT teams to design middleware solutions that meet business requirements.
    • Integrate Oracle Fusion Middleware with other enterprise applications (e.g., Oracle ERP, Oracle Cloud, SAP, Salesforce) for seamless data flow and system interoperability.
    • Configure and maintain Oracle Service Bus (OSB) for service virtualization and message routing.
  • Performance Optimization and Troubleshooting:

    • Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot Oracle Fusion Middleware components to ensure high availability and performance.
    • Identify and resolve issues related to middleware components, integration flows, and service configurations.
  • Security and Compliance:

    • Implement security protocols, including SSL/TLS, encryption, authentication, and authorization for services running on Oracle Fusion Middleware.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards related to data privacy, security, and governance.
  • Support and Maintenance:

    • Provide ongoing support for Oracle Fusion Middleware environments, including patching, upgrades, and regular maintenance tasks.
    • Ensure smooth operation of integrations in production environments and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  • Documentation and Best Practices:

    • Document integration flows, configurations, and processes.
    • Establish best practices for middleware development, deployment, and monitoring.
Required Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Certifications: Oracle SOA or Oracle Fusion Middleware certifications are a plus.

  • Experience:

    • 3+ years of hands-on experience developing and maintaining Oracle Fusion Middleware solutions.
    • Strong experience with Oracle SOA Suite, BPEL, Mediator, OSB, and WebLogic.
    • Knowledge of service-oriented architecture (SOA), enterprise service bus (ESB), and business process execution language (BPEL).
  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in developing and managing SOAP/RESTful web services.
    • Experience with XML, XSLT, XPath, WSDL, and related technologies.
    • Familiarity with Oracle WebLogic Server administration and performance tuning.
    • Strong knowledge of Java, J2EE, and SQL for backend development and integration.
    • Experience with messaging technologies such as JMS and message brokers.
    • Hands-on experience with middleware security protocols and practices (SSL, OAuth, SAML).
  • Soft Skills:

    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud or other cloud-based middleware platforms.
  • Knowledge of Oracle ERP integration, including working with modules like Oracle Financials or Oracle HCM.
  • Experience with DevOps practices, automation, and CI/CD pipelines for middleware deployments.
