Operations Assistant. As an Operations Assistant you will assist with various day-to-day operations that support our rapidly growing provider team.
The role:
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated
Operations Assistant who thrives in a dynamic environment and with a desire to build a diverse toolbox of clinical operations skills. Reporting to the SVP of Clinical Operations as the “go-to person,” you will support the daily operations of the Health Org by performing administrative and operational tasks. This will include assisting with the execution of operational strategies, creation of new artifacts and broader coordination across teams. We are looking for a self-starter who is eager to collaborate with different stakeholders and enthusiastic about all things clinical operations!
What you will do:
- Assist in the collection, entry, and reporting of operational data
- Prepare and maintain reports, spreadsheets, and presentations
- Create check-lists, user guides, workflow diagrams and other types of tooling
- Identify and offer improvement ideas to improve current processes and workflow
- Communicate with different vendors and help to reconcile invoicing
- Communicate and coordinate with different departments and teams
- Support member facing initiatives
You are a good fit if you have:
- Associate Degree;/Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
- 2-3 years of operational and/or customer service experience in healthcare
- Strong knowledge of Google Suite
- An affinity for precision and strong organizational skills
- Ability to effectively work independently and as part of a team
- Problem-solving skills with a bias towards action
It will also be great if you have:
- Experience working with an EHR
- Experience working at a healthcare start-up
- Experience working with Medicaid and understand different payor nuances
This position is remote (work from home) with expectation of attending team meetings quarterly. Candidates must reside in one of the following states:
Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, or Connecticut.
Work from home requirements:
- Must have internet service with minimum upload/download ability
- Company will provide equipment (laptop, monitor, keyboard, mouse and headset) plus a remote work stipend
- Must have a quiet space to speak to members with minimal background noise
- Must understand the importance of protected health information and ensure any data/information is not visible to others
This is a full-time, non-exempt (hourly) position. The starting range for this position is
$18.55 - $25.77 per hour + equity + benefits. The final compensation package is influenced by various factors such as experience, education, degrees earned, market data, and business requirements.
