We are currently seeking two Remote Hybrid Resource Planning Specialists for a prominent client based in Las Vegas, NV. This position offers a structured hybrid work environment with designated office days and remote work flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

Direct and oversee comprehensive economic analyses of the Company’s electric systems.
Forecast total system fuel and purchased power costs, ensuring accuracy in unit production and fuel procurement.
Conduct extensive research in support of market fundamentals and tackle complex pricing, financial, economic, regulatory, or legislative challenges.
Operate and maintain advanced pricing models for asset valuation and resource planning.
Present findings in clear, concise reports to various stakeholders, including consultants and regulators.
Maintain and execute computer models that support significant resource decisions and operational strategies.
Provide regulatory support, including the preparation of written testimony and responses to data requests.
Mentor and train junior Resource Planning staff, ensuring a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Required Skills

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
A minimum of 8-12 years of experience in utility production cost modeling.
Strong understanding of energy supply fundamentals and regional market behaviors.
Proficiency in modeling, analytical, statistical, and reporting software.
Knowledge of generation, transmission, gas transportation, and wholesale power markets.
Excellent quantitative, project management, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational abilities.

Qualifications

7 to 10 years of experience in resource planning, specifically in production cost modeling for electric utilities.
Familiarity with PLEXOS software is preferred.
Willingness to travel occasionally as required.

Compensation And Benefits

Base Salary: USD \(129,800 to \)152,700.
Eligible for a 20% Annual Incentive Award Bonus in addition to the base salary.
