Role: ServiceNow SME (CMDB Expert) - Strictly W2 only

Location: 100% Remote, EST working hours

Duration: 6 Months + Extension

Position Overview:

Are you an experienced ServiceNow SME with a deep understanding of CMDB and the CSDM Framework? We are looking for a dedicated professional with at least 5 years of ServiceNow (CMDB) experience to join our remote team. Candidates with healthcare experience (insurance or hospital) are strongly preferred.

In this role, you'll work closely with product owners, developers, and other SMEs to ensure CMDB health and support ServiceNow customizations and service mappings.

Key Responsibilities:

Review CMDB Health Dashboard 3 days per week using the CMDB Duplicate Remediation Tool.
Address and resolve CMDB data gaps and duplicate entries.
Collaborate with application SMEs to complete service mapping questionnaires.
Troubleshoot VMware discovery jobs and update agents.
Assist in minor CMDB customizations, skeleton service creation, and ensure the accuracy of the Data Dictionary for managed CI classes.

Qualifications:

5+ years’ experience as a ServiceNow (CMDB) SME.
Strong knowledge of the CSDM Framework.
Experience with CMDB health review, VMware discovery, and configuration management.
Healthcare experience is a plus.
