Job Title: Sr. Process Optimization Consultant - Remote | WFH

Job Overview

As a Senior Process Optimization Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing operational efficiency within our Client Services division. This position focuses on leading initiatives that drive measurable improvements in product delivery and operational excellence. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement innovative solutions that align with our strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the formulation and establishment of processes supporting an operational excellence program, ensuring effective tracking and governance of improvements.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of business needs and process requirements to pinpoint opportunities for increased efficiency and automation.
  • Measure and evaluate current processes, identifying root causes of variations and performance challenges.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams to garner support from key stakeholders for system and process enhancements, ensuring seamless implementation.
  • Apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies to achieve business goals and facilitate meaningful change.
  • Create control plans to monitor post-implementation business performance, utilizing statistical process controls to analyze process behavior.
  • Draft comprehensive business requirements documentation that delineates project scope and objectives while providing analytical support for diverse process strategies.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN2).
  • Expertise in value stream mapping, root cause analysis, change management, and project management.
  • Strong comprehension of payment networks, processing services, and banking or money movement dynamics.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with a talent for conveying intricate concepts effectively.
  • A proactive approach with proven organizational and logical problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience with a bachelor’s degree, or at least 5 years of experience with an advanced degree, or 2 years of relevant experience with a PhD.
  • Preferred: 9+ years of experience with a bachelor’s degree, 7+ years with an advanced degree, or 3+ years with a PhD.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification is highly desirable.
  • Experience in effectively managing and influencing change within a matrix organization.
