Job description

Job Overview

We are in search of a dedicated and knowledgeable Training Instructor to enhance a critical Department of Defense (DoD) initiative, Platform One. This remote role focuses on delivering exceptional technical training and workshops to facilitate the DoD’s DevSecOps program, which emphasizes industry best practices, open-source technologies (including Kubernetes and containers), and commercial solutions to develop Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines across a range of classification levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct virtual weekly training workshops for onboarding DoD product teams.
  • Provide educational materials and live support throughout training sessions.
  • Utilize and instruct on DevSecOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and agile methodologies.
  • Deliver technical training to Project Managers (PMs) and Developers.
  • Facilitate both virtual and in-person technical training sessions and workshops.
  • Ensure a high-quality customer experience by maintaining an effective student-to-instructor ratio.
  • Execute post-training evaluations and customer satisfaction surveys to foster continuous improvement.
  • Generate monthly status reports detailing customer feedback and training effectiveness.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in delivering technical training and workshops, particularly in DevSecOps and associated technologies.
  • Familiarity with Platform One tools, CI/CD pipelines, and agile methodologies.
  • Ability to train individuals from both technical and non-technical backgrounds.
  • Proficiency in utilizing virtual training platforms and tools for engaging session delivery.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate an enriching learning experience.
  • Experience conducting retrospectives and gathering feedback to enhance training outcomes.
