Job Overview

We invite you to join our esteemed team as a Simulation Operations Specialist, where you will be instrumental in the orchestration and management of simulation events for the renowned Medical College of Georgia. Collaborating closely with the Director of Operations, you will ensure the seamless execution of educational simulations, addressing both technological and educational requisites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and troubleshoot a broad array of audiovisual hardware and software.
  • Set up and oversee AV equipment for diverse events, ensuring optimal and secure usage.
  • Provide technical assistance and uphold the integrity of audiovisual systems.
  • Facilitate the utilization of instructional media and equipment during educational simulations.
  • Conduct pre-briefings and orientations for learners, faculty, and staff members.
  • Support examinations, assessments, and testing to guarantee a smooth educational journey.
  • Serve as an internal advisor on the integration of simulation technologies into the curriculum.
  • Manage the setup, operation, and inventory of IT equipment.
  • Ensure connectivity for statewide simulation initiatives across regional campus locations.
  • Provide troubleshooting support and maintain IT equipment functionality.
  • Plan and coordinate simulation activities statewide in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Manage stock levels and safeguard the security of consumables and equipment.
  • Maintain a tidy and compliant environment in preparation and storage areas.
  • Keep accurate documentation and contribute to program administration and reporting.
  • Set up, operate, and maintain simulators and other simulation apparatus.
  • Extend support for both in-person and remote simulation technologies.
  • Collaborate with vendors to address current and future simulation technology requirements.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as necessary to bolster the simulation program.

Qualifications

Compensation And Benefits

  • Shift: Days, Monday to Friday, with the possibility of occasional work outside normal business hours.
  • Salary: \(48,800 - \)55,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
