Job Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Youth Workforce Coordinator to join our dynamic team, dedicated to empowering young individuals in the Washington, DC area. Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with team members to design and implement engaging workforce initiatives.
  • Oversee the Summer Sitar Emerging Arts Leaders (S.E.A.L.) program, ensuring a rewarding experience for participants.
  • Organize essential workforce development events, including workshops, speaker sessions, and practice interviews.
  • Develop and manage a professional resource hub for internships, job opportunities, and scholarships.
  • Handle communications, invoicing, data collection, and external placements for ArtsAdvance apprenticeships.
  • Establish and utilize data collection strategies to monitor program outcomes effectively.
  • Track enrollment, retention, attendance, and other critical metrics to support program success.
  • Streamline administrative processes to enhance program effectiveness and team initiatives.
  • Assist in various organizational events, including student performances and community gatherings.

Required Skills

  • 1-2 years of relevant administrative experience or formal training in a related field.
  • Strong organizational and communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Capability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a background check and TB test.
  • Willingness to work some evenings and Saturdays for community events.

Compensation And Benefits

  • Annual salary ranging from \(51,500 to \)53,045, based on experience, with higher qualifications eligible for a coordinator title.
