Job Overview

Canvas Health is seeking a dedicated and bilingual Therapist to join our team, focusing on Functional Family Therapy interventions for youth and families referred through juvenile probation or health and human services. This remote position offers an opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of our clients while contributing to a mission-driven organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide therapeutic and educational support to youth and families.
  • Implement the Functional Family Therapy Model to deliver effective services.
  • Engage in crisis intervention, therapy sessions, and case coordination.
  • Advocate for clients and prepare necessary court reports.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and provide referral services as required.

Required Skills

  • Compassion and commitment to mental health and wellness.
  • Proficiency in therapeutic interventions, including crisis management.
  • Excellent communication skills, with bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
  • Strong ability to coordinate care and collaborate with various professionals.

Qualifications

  • A master’s degree in a mental health-related discipline.
  • A current Minnesota Mental Health License (e.g., LP, LICSW, LMFT) or eligibility for supervisory competency listing.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in the Human Services sector.

The salary for this role ranges from \(66,752.48 to \)77,292.35 annually. This compensation reflects a good faith estimate and may vary based on individual qualifications, experience, location, and employment status.
