Position Summary

We are in search of a dedicated Director of Student Financial Management to spearhead our financial aid initiatives. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with key stakeholders to craft strategic financial aid plans that enhance access to education, promote diversity, and optimize the investment return for our students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Assistant Dean of Admissions and Student Financial Management and the Assistant Dean of Business & Operations to enhance the allocation of scholarships and discount funds with the goal of attracting a diverse student population.
  • Analyze enrollment trends, scholarship awards, and persistence data to develop effective enrollment management models.
  • Advise students on financial aid options, financing strategies, and loan repayment plans.
  • Oversee the Loan Repayment Assistance Program (LRAP) to provide support to graduates pursuing public service careers.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports for accrediting bodies related to student financial management.
  • Perform additional tasks as needed to support the team and the institution’s mission.

Qualifications

    • Advanced degree in finance or business administration.
    • Familiarity with higher education admissions processes.
    • Current knowledge of financial aid policies and trends.
    • Experience with financial management software, such as Banner.

Compensation And Benefits

  • Salary Range: \(78,000 - \)88,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
