Job description

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Intelligence Support Analyst to join our team in a remote capacity, supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). In this pivotal role, you will work closely with DHS Intelligence Analysts, Information Officers, and Collection Managers, leveraging the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) TAC data discovery system to fulfill critical intelligence requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with clients to formulate information requests and establish effective queries and grids to address operational needs.
  • Provide both desk-side and virtual assistance by analyzing data, creating pertinent queries, and suggesting frameworks that track key areas of interest.
  • Design and execute TAC search queries and grid sets tailored for various DHS components.
  • Deliver training on system utilization through multiple channels, including classroom instruction, one-on-one guidance, web-based tools, and telephone support.
  • Conduct quality assurance on TAC analytic queries to ensure precision and reliability.
  • Oversee user accounts within the TAC system.
  • Support the program manager in generating formal reports and collaborate with fellow analysts to ensure seamless communication.
  • Travel to client sites across the U.S. (up to 10% of the time) to provide training and on-site assistance.

Required Skills

  • Active TS/SCI clearance.
  • Proficient in utilizing computer-based analysis or query tools within an intelligence context.
  • Experience in training on analytic tools using various delivery methods (classroom, small group, virtual, or telephonic).
  • Familiarity with intelligence analysis or research tools such as RMT, DataXplorer, FADE, Palantir, Analyst Notebook, etc.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational capabilities.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and manage extended training requirements.
  • Capacity to represent the organization to clients, advocate for client needs, and ensure effective communication.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, or a Master's Degree with at least 5 years of related experience.
  • Preferred: Experience with the TAC tool or as a TAC System Specialist.
  • Familiarity with DHS Operational and Support Components such as I&A, USCIS, USCG, CBP, CISA, FEMA, ICE, USSS, TSA, S&T, or CWMD.
  • Expertise in all-source analysis applied to complex problem sets.

Compensation And Benefits

  • Salary Range: \(105,000 - \)132,000 (Compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and market conditions).
