Our diverse team of knowledgeable doulas and lactation consultants offer in-person and virtual support, enhanced by modern technology, making expert care accessible everywhere.

The Payer Sales Executive will be a key addition to the Pacify sales team responsible for growth within the payer market. This team member will leverage their experience selling into payers, their existing relationships with health plan leaders, and deep knowledge of the payer ecosystem to drive revenue for the business. They will also help refine the go-to-market strategy and sales processes alongside other Pacify leaders.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive payer growth for the organization.
  • Generate and qualify new leads using various approaches to penetrate prospective payer accounts.
  • Cultivate new and existing relationships with key decision-makers, including C-suite executives, medical directors, and provider network teams.
  • Manage a full-cycle sales process including creative lead generation, discovery, solution development, sales presentations, negotiations, and closing contracts.
  • Position Pacify’s value proposition effectively based on the payer’s goals, a deep understanding of the product, and the competitive landscape.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful implementation of new payer partnerships.
  • Maintain accurate and timely sales records and forecast reporting to track progress and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Contribute to company culture and success in a variety of ways, including providing input on overall strategy, product-market fit, and tactical execution.
  • Stay on top of the competitive landscape, women’s health and maternal health trends, and payer needs, so you can strategically position Pacify solutions in the market.

Qualifications:.

  • 7+ years of experience in a direct sales role, with no less than 5 years of experience selling into payers.
  • Exceptional sales performance with a track record of hitting or exceeding quotas.
  • An existing network of health plan contacts that you can tap into quickly to generate pipeline.
  • Knowledge of the payer landscape and digital health space, including reimbursement models, regulatory requirements, and industry trends.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly articulate ideas, build relationships, and influence decision-makers.
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills; proficient in designing presentations and using PowerPoint and Google Slides.
  • Proficient at digging into the technical and operational details and collaborating with internal resources to deliver high-quality proposals and solutions.
  • Passionate about improving maternal health disparities and outcomes, as well as improving the birthing experience through doula support.
  • An ability and desire to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Occasional travel may be required (up to 20% of the time).
