Compensation
Compensation includes a base salary of $77,800.00 - $116,800.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

Fleet Services is hiring a Dispatch Manager. The Dispatch Manager oversees and manages the company's dispatch operations to ensure efficient and safe delivery of services to our customers. This role involves strategic planning, resource allocation, and leadership to achieve performance and safety targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement dispatch strategies in line with company objectives.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the dispatch center, including scheduling, staffing, and operations.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Monitor performance against key metrics and take corrective actions as necessary.
- Collaborate with other departments to improve client experience. This includes breakdown call management, customer service, and billing.
- Analyze the financial impact of proposed Technician changes, such as routing, time to get to site, and excessive time delays.
- Implement specific customer requirements, such as internal reporting or customized procedures.
- Investigate service failures, report findings, and implement corrective actions.
- Participate in selection, qualification, or performance evaluation for direct reports.
- Oversee dispatcher call quality, and conduct audits.
- Training, coaching, and development of dispatch employees.
Skill and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 6 years’ experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 4 years’ experience; a Ph.D. and 1 year experience in a related field; or 10 years’ experience in a related field
- 1+ Year of experience in management or Lead role.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of the transportation industry and relevant regulations is required.
- Proficiency in dispatch management software systems.
- Strong business acumen and a keen eye for identification of business improvement opportunities.
- Ability to investigate problems and identify root causes and associated factors.
- Performs duties with precision, accuracy, and a sense of urgency.
- Flexibility to work outside of normally scheduled work hours for training, mentoring, and employee evaluation.
