Position Summary 
 

Teladoc is seeking an experienced web developer with a strong passion for coding to help create innovative web and mobile marketing solutions. As a web developer, you will be responsible for coding, maintaining, and supporting the company's website, www.teladochealth.com. As a member of the digital operations team, you will work closely with designers, marketing managers and back-end developers to ensure that the user experience is seamless and consistent across all devices and platforms. The ideal candidate for this role is passionate about creating visually appealing and user-friendly websites that meets and exceeds the expectations of our clients and members. 

​​Role and Responsibilities​ 

  • Develop and maintain the company's website, www.teladochealth.com, ensuring high quality and optimal performance. 
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to optimize the website for member engagement and client lead generation. 
  • Use a variety of programming languages and tools, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery, to create responsive web and mobile pages. 
  • Work with back-end developers and other stakeholders to ensure that the website integrates seamlessly with other systems and tools. 
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code. 
  • Ensure website and application accessibility and compliance with industry standards, such as WCAG and ADA.
  • Troubleshoot website and application issues and provide timely and effective support.
  • Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other team members to ensure project goals are met and deliverables are completed on time. 
  • Test website functionality and user experience and make improvements as necessary. 

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in web development.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
  • Experience with front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git.
  • Experience with content management systems such as Adobe AEM, WordPress and Drupal.
  • Experience with design tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or Figma.
  • Knowledge of website optimization techniques such as page speed optimization and SEO best practices.
  • Understanding of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. 
  • The flexibility to quickly adapt and produce in a rapidly changing environment, meeting aggressive schedules. 
  • Experience with and passion for teamwork and cross-functional collaboration.
     


Preferred qualifications

  • Proficient in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) development is preferred: experience in developing and customizing AEM components, templates, and workflows using Java, JSP, and JSTL. 
  • Experience with AEM authoring and publishing is preferred: be familiar with AEM's authoring and publishing workflows, including content creation, version control, and deployment processes. 
  • Knowledge of AEM architecture and best practices is preferred: understand AEM's underlying architecture, including the CQ5 foundation, and be able to follow AEM best practices for development and maintenance.
