What You Bring to Applaudo:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Up to 2 years of experience in backend development with Python.
• Familiarity with building Web Services.
• Basic knowledge of SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or related).
• An understanding of software development concepts, such as SOLID principles, OOP, and best coding practices.
• A strong desire to learn DevOps tools and practices, such as CI/CD, containerization, and cloud services.
• Problem-solving and logical thinking skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Responsible, organized, and motivated to contribute in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

You will be accountable for the following responsibilities:

• Actively identify and assist others in troubleshooting and resolving issues within existing backend services.
• Propose innovative solutions and document them comprehensively for future reference.
• Maintain accurate documentation of systems, incidents, processes, and resolutions to ensure knowledge sharing and transparency.
• Demonstrate readiness to provide on-call support when required (on-call support skills are a bonus).
• Monitor and resolve issues in production applications and infrastructure, ensuring reliability and uptime.
• Coordinate between development teams, vendors, and stakeholders, ensuring smooth integration and clear updates on system performance.
• Implement and optimize DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and automation, to enhance operational efficiency.
