System Engineer

Included in a project team and managed by the Project Manager, the R&D System Product Technical Leader is in direct contact with the customer (internal or external) and considered as the key contact on technical matters. 
She/he is accountable for the complete product definition & validation in accordance with functional & robustness requirements. She/he is empowered to manage functionally its respective R&D contributors allowing them to reach the QCD targets of the project.

Knowledge and Skills

• Experienced in driving the Software,hardware, mechanical & application requirements.
• Good in Requirement management  and overall traceability.i
• Good in Customer RFQ analysis and support for Design reviews.
• Good in Effort estimation.
• Exposure to Norms and regulation, Functional safety and cybersecurity.
• Expertised in System testing and Vehicle level validation.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Identify customer and other stakeholder needs at system level  
• Design system element requirements to meet customer application needs  
• Manage project/platform associated validation plans
• Ensure the compatibility / standardisation between existing projects / platforms if relevant
• Secure Product Robustness, apply standards

• Support projects on technical and process related aspects in specific assignments on site.

• Assess and report the actual situation of organizational units and / or projects in assessments and System Design Reviews.

• Manage certain specific support activities incl. schedule and results. Define, track and actively support action plans to handle identified issues in projects and organizational units.
