Business Controlling Energy Retail Department in CFO Area, at Customer Solution Italy is looking for a/an: Business Controller with focus on Future Energy Home (m/f)

Your responsibilities will include:

• Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets - Future Energy Home business related
• Analyze financial data and performance indicators to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Ensure accurate, timely and insightful analysis of the local business solution with respect to:
• Monthly-end performance reporting
• Forecasting, budgeting and mid-term planning
• Projects performance
• Business profitability
• Monitor and control costs, expenses, and budgets. Conduct variance analysis and provide recommendations to optimize financial performance.
• Perform Quarterly Closing activity in the system (sap) with strong interaction with accounting team:
• Sap extraction and analysis
• Reclassification between business or margin
• Calculation and manage the accrual with accounting department
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for local and/or group management.
• Support in the preparation of business cases and investment proposals.
• Deal with group internal investment proposal in line with the respective guidelines, including the preparation of post completion audits on finalized projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and various stakeholders to support strategic initiatives and provide financial guidance.
• Prepare regular Business Reviews with the local management as well as with various stakeholders and propose, where necessary, short- or mid-term countermeasures.
• Act as a sparring partner to the local and central management to steer the business properly.
• Ensure consistent standards in terms of process and documentation quality
• Participate in the development and implementation of internal policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Reporting line to the Head of Business Controlling Energy Retail Italy.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Successful completion of academic studies in the field of business administration, ideally with a focus on controlling/accounting/finance. MBA or other advanced degrees are a plus.
• Comprehensive work experience in Finance or Controlling (2-3 years) experience in an international energy sector environment is a plus.
• Knowledge of general ledger and cost accounting methods and techniques
• Profound knowledge of financial reporting landscape and accounting systems and processes, including SAP CO/FI
• Analytical thinker with effective communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills, able to succeed in a team of highly motivated and talented individuals.
• Well organized individual, with proven ability to perform under time pressure and to juggle competing deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Highly reliable character, taking ownership and showing a strong commitment to excellence, including attention to detail and accuracy.
• Open personality and internationally minded; highly motivated and willing to roll up sleeves.
