Job Overview

We are actively seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Systems Analyst to join our dynamic team in support of a significant government client. This crucial role involves contributing to the Emergency Management (EM) Service Delivery and Service Level Agreement (SLA) Management processes for Army EM initiatives across over 80 military installations globally. The ideal candidate will possess an active DoD Secret Clearance and demonstrate a combination of educational background and practical experience in IT service management, incident management, and problem resolution methodologies. Shift: 3rd Shift (Monday - Friday, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the operation and maintenance of the Defense EM Mass Warning Notification, E-911, and Audio Visual Notification Systems, ensuring effective management of associated hardware, software, and processes.
  • Provide expert incident management services, adhering to SLA metrics and Key Performance Indicators established by the program.
  • Document, coordinate, and troubleshoot technical inquiries and reported incidents from Emergency Responders regarding system issues.
  • Address concerns related to system performance, security incidents, access issues, and software usage inquiries.
  • Train end-users on self-service resolution steps or facilitate communication with relevant teams such as security administration and systems administration.
  • Analyze and report on Service Level Performance against agreed SLAs, offering recommendations for process enhancements.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Security, and Systems Administration teams to incorporate client feedback and address support needs.
  • Maintain compliance with applicable laws and regulations, as well as standard operating procedures.

Required Skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and conflict resolution skills.
  • Knowledge of or willingness to learn about Emergency Management systems (E911, MWN, etc.).
  • Flexibility to work varied hours and be on-call as required.

Qualifications

  • Active DoD Secret Clearance is mandatory.
  • Security+ CE certification (willingness to obtain after starting is essential).
  • Demonstrated experience in Service Delivery and Incident Management processes.
  • Limited travel may be necessary (0 - 4 times per year).
  • Flexibility to work the 3rd shift: Wednesday to Sunday, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM (shift concludes Saturday at 7:00 AM).
