Job description

This is a remote position.


We are currently looking for a DevOps / Senior Software Engineer to support our AI and tech infrastructure through DevOps excellence.

The role will be to work with the existing DevOps team to architect, build, and evolve our ecosystem to power cutting-edge AI products. In addition, the roll will be required to drive automation, optimisation, and scalability to meet market demands.

This is an engineering focused role using cutting edge tools and languages to build the platform to ensure the high-quality delivery of Webio software and services. 

This is very exciting role as you will be working with QA, engineering, and AI team to build the platform and improve our CI/CD pipeline.

We currently work exclusively in AWS using GitLab, TeamCity EC2 (which we are moving to k8s), Windows (which we are migrating to Linux), Octopus, and AuroraDB.

You will work closely with existing DevOps engineer, a security/SecOps engineer, and a QA Engineer.

Key focus areas:

  • Design and implement robust, scalable systems
  • Evolve & Streamline development and deployment pipelines
  • Continuously optimize for performance and reliability
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures
  • Help diagnose and resolve bugs

Your expertise will be crucial in evolving our DevOps services & processes to exceed growing market demands ensuring we stay ahead i n a rapidly advancing AI landscape.



Requirements
  • 4-6 years in an AWS DevOps role
  • Exceptional problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Strong communication abilities
  • CI/CD pipeline expertise
  • Managing a SAAS platform
  • Containerization and Orchestration Experience
  • CI/CD Pipeline Tools
  • Experience with Serverless technologies
  • Experience in creating services for high availability
  • Coding experience in one of the following Java (preferred), Go, or Python
  • Database administration

The personal qualities we will be looking for are:

  • Intellectually curious
  • Passion for development, DevOps and QA
  • Excellent and methodical troubleshooting skills
  • Good oral and written communication skills in English

Location
This role is a remote-first role. Occasional visits to our Dublin Office may be required.
