In order to drive marketing forward in the long term, we are now looking for a

Marketing Specialist (m/f/d) 

for the support of our locations in Austria and Switzerland. The job will be based in Austria.


The Marketing Specialist for our clinics/practices will make a significant contribution to increasing AniCura's success in the two AniCura countries Austria and Switzerland through effective marketing and communication activities. The success of the position is largely based on the ability to effectively address the needs and inspire AniCura's various target groups, including central marketing Team, Practice Managers and staff, Support Team, and others. The Marketing Specialist will report to Head of Marketing Central-Eastern Europe.

Some of the tasks you can expect with us:

  • First point of contact for marketing topics in Switzerland and Austria, close cooperation with our veterinary clinics/ practices and the central/international marketing team
  • Implementation of Central Activities: Coordinate and implement central marketing activities in the local market.
  • Creation and Localization: Creating and adapting marketing content, marketing materials and campaigns to fit the local market needs and preferences.
  • Event Management: Plan and execute events such as open days, referring events, conferences, seminars, and trade shows.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Build and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and other main stakeholders in the veterinary field.
  • Administration: Handle administrative tasks, including budget management, vendor management, and logistics of marketing materials.
  • Support Digital and PR Initiatives: Work closely with other Team members and stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging across all channels. Assist in content creation and local adaptation of digital and PR campaigns.
  • Rebranding Initiatives: Support and manage local aspects of rebranding initiatives, ensuring consistency with the overall brand strategy. Implement brand changes across all regional marketing materials and channels.


What you should bring:

  • Studies or training in the fields of marketing, communication or business administration
  • Generalist marketeer (5-10 years of professional experience)
  • Excellent command of German
  • Proficiency in English
  • Experience in marketing content creation and design
  • Strong understanding of current marketing trends, tools and techniques.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Enjoy travelling (<20%)
  • Resident in Austria. The position is carried out in remote working in combination with business trips (mainly Switzerland, Austria, Poland)
  • Experience in veterinary medicine, healthcare, or a similar field would be an asset.

The minimum monthly salary (x14) for this position is € 3500,- on a full-time basis, with the possibility to overpay, depending on qualifications and professional experience.
