Job description

Job title - Business Development Manager 

Location - Remote from within the UK 

Salary - £35,000 - £50,000 + uncapped commission 

The company

We are currently working with a super exciting start-up who in just 4 years and with a relatively lean team have become profitable with 2M ARR. 

As a business they operate in the Cross Border payments space offering their clients the ability to launch multi-currency accounts, digital wallets and virtual cards with access to over 180+ currencies. Along with this they have combined a unique SaaS offering that provides global treasury management and integrates with key ERP solutions such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, Dynamics and others. 

The position 

We are looking to hire a 360 sales specialist coming from a core FX background who is looking to move into the exciting fast paced SaaS environment with a solution where they can massively leverage their FX Sales experience and transform it into a SaaS based environment. 

core responsibilities will include 

  • Identify prospective clients across the EMEA region that have a need for Cross Border Payments, Global treasury management and FX hedging solutions. 
  • Launch outbound campaigns utilising a multi-touch and multi-channel approach within your cadences to sell the core value propositions of the solution. this will include cold calling, Personalised and sequenced email, events, social selling etc 
  • Become a subject matter expert on the product where you can effectively run product demonstrations based on the pain points and needs established during initial outreach 
  • Handle all negotiations, contracts and closing cycles and hand over to the onboarding team on completion 
  • Utilise any feedback throughout the conversations to work closely with other teams within the business such as Marketing and product to ensure consistent optimisation and development in the market.

Please be aware that full training will be provided on the product and technology used within the business for both sales enablement and demos. 

The required skills and experience

  • You must be based in the UK and feel comfortable working in a remote environment 
  • Have a proven track record of selling FX or Cross Border Payment solutions across EMEA 
  • Have a proven track record selling to industries such as Import/Export, Freight/shipping, Manufacturing, Logistics, Financial services, Professional services or other FX hot spots. 
  • Experience utilising HubSpot, Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Nav or similar tools within your outreach
