As Progression Officer - Apprenticeships, you will be working as part of the Assessments team to provide an excellent standard of customer service and assist with the smooth operations of the department ensuring effective and high quality administration is provided to apprentices and staf

As a Progression Officer - Apprenticeships, your key responsibilities will incl

  • ude:Marking Process: Oversee the administration and coordination of marking for all exams and assessments, working closely with academic staff, assessment officers across campuses, and external examiners to ensure efficient handling of scri
  • pts.Examinations: Manage the allocation and distribution of exam materials, ensuring apprentices receive the correct information and that all exams are conducted in accordance with University of Law procedu
  • res.Examination Board: Prepare provisional final results and all related documentation, liaising with programme leads to ensure accur
  • acy.Results Management: Calculate, publish, and distribute accurate provisional/conditional results, ensuring timely updates to all relevant Excel spreadsheets. Coordinate with academic staff and programme leads for award notifications, resits, and further attem
  • pts.Concession Applications: Administer and update records for apprentices who are absent from exams or assessments due to concessions, ensuring procedures are follo
  • wed.Special Facilities: Collaborate with the Disability Support Team to arrange adjustments for apprentices requiring special facilities during assessme
  • nts.Records Management: Maintain an organised, accurate filing system for exams and assessments, ensuring the student database (UNIT-e) is consistently updated with all apprentice and assessment informat
  • ion.Communication: Ensure clear, timely, and confidential communication with apprentices and staff regarding exams and assessme
  • nts.SQE1 Preparation Materials: Provide accurate and up-to-date information on SQE1 preparation materials to apprentices, clients, and colleag
  • ues.External Organisations: Liaise with third-party partners involved in apprentice progression, particularly regarding Disability Support adjustme
  • nts.Timetabling: Work closely with the timetabling team to ensure timely adjustments for apprentices requiring support, verify appointments, and manage communication regarding assessment schedu
