The Technology Delivery Manager will support Product Owners, Product Managers, Engineering leads, PMO, Sr. Technology Delivery Managers, and stakeholders throughout the organization.  The Technology Delivery Manager will be assigned to support specific team(s) and portfolio(s). Responsibilities include overseeing the delivery of initiatives of assigned team(s) and portfolio(s), coordinating the intake of work through domain governance, developing and maintaining capacity and financial forecasts, capitalization of work, work scheduling, risk and issue management, status reporting, proactive identification and removal of impediments, process design, process implementation, management of agile and waterfall activities, continuous improvement, road mapping, coordinating with teams across technology, coordinating with stakeholders across Invitation Homes, supporting Product and UI/UX functions, and related tasks as assigned.

What You’ll Do

  • Anticipate and mitigate risks, dependencies, and impediments; facilitate resolutions

  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors (onshore, nearshore and offshore)

  • Analyze problems and make recommendations for improvements, including identifying and evaluating opportunities for growth, reduce operating expenses and improve performance

  • Work closely with development teams, PMO, stakeholders, and subject matter experts to plan and deliver initiatives

  • Assist in the definition of scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility

  • Create and maintain forecast of resource availability, allocation, and capitalization

  • Develop pragmatic and appropriate plans to monitor and communicate progress

  • Identify and escalate issues to OCIO leadership as needed

  • Measure team and portfolio performance using appropriate tools and techniques

  • Establish, maintain, and manage the relationships with technology leads, PMO, stakeholders and vendors

  • Support Product Management, Product Owner, and UI/UX functions including authoring deliverables, consultation, reviewing, editing and coaching

  • Perform scrum master and Kanban lead responsibilities as needed

  • Project Manage Tier 2 and internal initiatives

  • Assist with program management as needed

  • Assist in the design and implementation of methodologies, processes and tools; continually monitor and improve

  • Escalate material changes and delays appropriately

Who We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s Degree or related experience.

  • Minimum 3+ years’ relevant delivery management experience required.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus

  • Agile training and certifications (CSM, CPO, etc.) are a plus

  • Proven judgment and ability to manage portfolios of work

  • Solid understanding of project management and agile principles, with the ability to teach and coach others

  • Keen ability to engage and lead delivery teams

  • Strong interpersonal, conflict management and communication skills

  • Effective documentation and reporting skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office

  • Prefer experience with QuickBase, Jira and Confluence

Salary Range
$82,800.00 - $143,520.00
