Are you a driven Systems Accountant ready to take on a pivotal role in supporting business improvements and managing finance systems?

Based in Australia, preferably Sydney, this 6-month contract will offer you valuable experience working with key financial systems like Netsuite (ERP), Salesforce (CRM), Webexpenses (Employee Reimbursements), Stampli (AP Approval), and Adaptive Planning (Budgeting & Forecasting).

 

In this role, you’ll support the seamless integration of Salesforce with Netsuite and manage the administration of multiple finance platforms, driving key improvements and seamless daily operations. You’ll work closely with the Group Head of Finance, Financial Controller, and Business Systems and Sales teams, to maintain system integrity and develop solutions that meet the needs of a global business. What you’ll do:

 

As the Systems Accountant, your responsibilities will include:

 

  • Support changes in Salesforce to ensure the correct financial and data information is flowing to Netsuite.
  • Manage day-to-day operations with ongoing system and technical support for Netsuite, Webexpenses, Stampli and Adaptive. This includes troubleshooting issues, managing users, and setting up new fields, ledger accounts, and workflows.
  • Ensure successful integration, implementation, testing, and updates of Netsuite while customising it to meet the company’s evolving needs.
  • Work closely with the Finance, Sales, and Business Systems teams to ensure systems are aligned with business objectives.
  • Map business processes, manage system changes, and recommend process improvements for more efficient financial operations.

  • Swift remediation of any issues prohibiting business as usual operations across systems.
  • Successful system upgrades and updates, ensuring minimal disruption to business needs.
  • Improvement of financial data management and workflow efficiency.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
  • Administrator experience with Netsuite OneWorld, including multi-region/country administration and workflow management.
  • Scripting experience within Netsuite (preferred).
  • Experience mapping business processes and change management.
  • Solid accounting knowledge and familiarity with financial reporting.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Stampli, Webexpenses, and Adaptive Planning (preferred).
  • The ability to liaise with various departments and influence stakeholders.
