Power BI Analyst

The company: Our client is an innovative US based healthcare tech start up

Job Description: As a full time Power BI Analyst  you will be a front end Power BI expert, helping a scaling start-up launch a new product. 

The ideal candidate is a proactive, effective communicator, who is highly organized, curious, and can prioritize while multitasking.

In this role you will:

• Supporting the leadership team with Power BI analysis work.
• Collecting and analyzing data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and correlations that will support business growth
• Creating and maintaining data models, databases, and central dashboards to support data-driven decision-making
• Collaborating with stakeholders and data scientists to establish business goals, metrics, and requirements and then translate these specifics into business analysis solutions
• Conducting data quality checks while ensuring data integrity and accuracy across all spectrums before implementing findings
• Developing reports, visualizations, and presentations to communicate strategic findings and presenting these insights as recommendations to key stakeholders to aid business decisions
• Identifying opportunities for process improvements and optimization based on data insights
• Work on other ad hoc project as needed.

About you:

• Legally eligible to work in the Philippines.
• Fluent in verbal and written English.
• As an independent contractor, you must have your own laptop / computer and secure, high speed internet access.
• 3+ years in a Data Analyst role (or similar).
• Advanced expertise in Power BI and Excel
• University Degree in a relevant field: Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics (or similar).
• Expertise with in-depth data analysis, extracting insights and data visualization.
• Ability to take initiative and work independently
• Bonus points: experience in a similar role at a healthcare tech start up

• Working schedule: Full time 40 hours per week, US business hours (EST)
• Hourly rate: PHP ₱650-800 per hour depending on experience
