Job description

Overview:

The Sr. Implementation Manager (SIM) at Cotiviti is accountable for the operational execution of the project plan for new customers or new/recurring projects specific to existing customers. The SIM will also partner with the Client and serve as the main point of contact for the client for all components of the joint implementation project plan. The SIM will also partner with any/all internal departments in support of the plan execution to include IT, product, product development, operations, finance, training.   This role will require a resource that has a proven track record of solid Project Management, Business Analysis and Relationship Management, as well as outstanding written and verbal communication skills.   The responsibilities of this role will involve, but not be limited to, defining and leading the creation of project implementation project plans, identifying process improvement opportunities, coordinating and managing the client implementation effort with cross-functional groups, monitoring complex operational reporting and facilitating resolution of delivery issues as needed as well as becoming a key subject matter expert in particular areas of the business.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage implementation and operation team in day-to-day activities and collaboration necessary to successfully complete client-facing implementation projects.
  • Mastery of project artifacts within SaaS software tools for tracking, management, and reporting.
  • Partner with internal product development, operations, and client services groups, as well as external clients, to ensure that all parties are engaged and notified as to the implementation process and operational status.
  • Work to continuously look for process improvement opportunities and provide necessary feedback to the leadership team.
  • Delegates some administrative duties and mentors analysts to maximize performance and potential.

  • Ability to understand and translate SOW requirements into project plan nuances.
  • Predominantly remote project collaboration to execute milestones/tasks.
  • Complete all responsibilities as outlined on annual Performance Plan.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Business Management, or equivalent experience.
  • 5 years of experience leading client-facing implementation projects.
  • 5 years of experience overseeing all aspects of a client implementation effort operationally.
  • 5 years of experience leading cross-functional teams of implementation performers on multiple efforts simultaneously and driving the team to successful (on time, on budget, minimal issues) implementations.
  • 5 years of experience evaluating complex operational reports, identifying concerns, and working individually and through cross-functional teams to re-align delivery back to target performance.
  • 5 years of experience working within an enterprise Change Management process.
  • Ability to oversee all aspects of a client implementation effort operationally, as well as seek solutions ensuring that key cross-functional groups are not over committed with multiple client requests.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and result oriented leadership skills with the ability to be a successful team builder in a time critical environment.
  • Lead cross functional teams of implementation performers on multiple efforts simultaneously and drive the team to successful (on time, on budget, minimal issues) implementations.
  • Ability to evaluate complex operational reports, identify concerns, and work individually and through cross-functional teams to re-align delivery back to target performance.
  • Ability and desire to fully understand the end-to-end process flow and act as a performer as necessary to support implementation needs.
  • Individually accountable for all project outcomes as well as organizational deadlines.
  • Experience and ability to report project status to executive level stakeholders.
  • Willing/able to work a flexible schedule around project deadlines and implementations, as necessary.
  • Travel (<10%)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of medical claims processing and EDI.
  • Good understanding of software development life cycles (SAFe methodology).
  • Basic knowledge of IT applications, data processing, and proficiency with MS Office Suite.
  • PMP certification and Workfront proficiency preferred.

Mental Requirements:

  • Ability to oversee all aspects of a client implementation effort operationally, as well as seek solutions ensuring that key cross-functional groups are not over committed with multiple client requests.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and result oriented leadership skills with the ability to be a successful team builder in a time critical environment.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:

  • Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
  • Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
  • Must be able to provide a dedicated, secure work area.
  • Must be able to provide high-speed internet access / connectivity and office setup and maintenance.

Base compensation ranges from $105,000 to $127,000. Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.
