Currently, we are looking for a Director of Product Management for Switches, Reels, and Sensors who will be responsible for driving the strategic direction of these product lines, ensuring alignment with the overall company strategy. This individual will lead the product management team, set both short-term and long-term goals, and solve performance and operational issues to enhance efficiency and meet business objectives. The Director will work closely with Senior Leadership to ensure that product strategies directly support Littelfuse's overall goals. They will also define product management processes and lead key initiatives across a significant portion of the business unit’s portfolio.

About the job:

  • Develop and drive both short-term and long-term strategies for the Switches, Reels, and Sensors product lines. Ensure alignment with the overall company strategy and business unit objectives.

  • Collaborate with Senior Leadership to understand the company's vision and strategy, identifying how the product management function can best support and drive these initiatives forward.

  • the direction for the product management team, providing clear goals, guidance, and mentorship. Foster a high-performing, innovative team culture.

  • Confront and resolve performance and operational challenges that impact the product lines. Drive initiatives to improve process efficiency, product quality, and cost management.

  • Lead and oversee key projects that significantly influence the business unit’s product portfolio. Ensure successful execution, alignment with strategic goals, and timely delivery.

  •  Define and implement best-in-class product management processes and standards. Ensure these processes drive consistency, efficiency, and measurable results across the team.

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and challenges in the Switches, Reels, and Sensors product lines. Use insights to influence product strategies, innovation, and positioning.

  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of the product portfolio, from ideation to end-of-life. Ensure that each product is optimally positioned in the market and is meeting both financial and customer goals.

  • Collaborate with engineering, sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure products are developed, launched, and marketed effectively. Foster strong communication across departments to align product and business unit goals.

  • Participate in the development of corporate methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for key projects, marketing programs, products, and personnel management across the organization.

About you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.

  • 10+ years of product management experience with a proven track record of driving strategy and operational improvements. At least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably in the industrial, manufacturing, or technology sectors.

  • Strong understanding of Switches, Reels, and Sensors or related product categories. Experience managing technical product lines in industrial applications is highly desirable.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic product plans while managing and mentoring product teams. Experience in partnering with senior leadership to align product initiatives with overall company goals.

  • Proven experience in identifying and resolving performance and operational inefficiencies. Ability to drive process improvements that deliver results.

  • Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work across teams including engineering, sales, marketing, and operations.

  • Experience managing product P&L, including pricing strategies and cost management to meet financial targets.

  • Experience leading complex, cross-functional projects and delivering them on time, within scope, and aligned with business goals.
