Business Analyst

The role

As part of our Naval Combat Systems group, the Program Headmark Business Analyst will, under direction and with the help of a project lead, execute approved Business Improvement project initiatives, including:

• Project scope definition and management;
• Project planning; development of milestones and key deliverables, resource demand and budget;
• Information and data gathering and analysis;
• Definition, analysis and improvement of processes;
• Stakeholder engagement;
• Root cause analysis;
• Rolling out new processes and initiatives into the NCS business, including change management.

Further, the successful candidate will:

• Comply with legislation and Company policies, processes and instructions, including those relating to non-discrimination, safety and duty of care and the quality management system.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Flexible work arrangements such as hybrid work from home / office, 9 day fortnight will be considered for this role.

• Strong organisational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders.
• Strong data analysis skills.
• Business Improvement experience.
• Understanding of how good processes are constructed and the benefits they bring.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interpret and follow high level feedback and requirements

As Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants will be required to hold an Australian Defence Security Clearance to NV1 level or have the ability to gain one.
