Job description

We are growing the Engineering team and are actively hiring for the following positions:

  • OSP Engineers - The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, and implementing fiber optic networks. This role necessitates a deep understanding of telecommunications engineering principles and a comprehensive knowledge of industry standards. The successful candidate will be proficient in various OSP design architectures, particularly FTTH and FTTP. Additionally, candidates should demonstrate proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, GIS, or similar tools. A solid understanding of industry standards, codes, and regulations (e.g., NESC, NEC) is essential.
  • OSP Permit Specialist - The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in permitting, preferably within the telecommunications sector. Experience with Charter/Spectrum is considered a valuable asset. The ideal candidate will possess familiarity with various permitting processes, including Railroad permitting, Pole permitting, City and County regulations, etc.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, environmental science, urban planning);
  • A minimum of 2 years in either OSP Engineering or OSP Permitting is a must.
  • Knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations (e.g., NESC, NEC);
  • Understanding and application of standard engineering or scientific theories, concepts, principles, and techniques;
  • Ability to develop and resolve solutions to routine technical problems;
  • Ability to work on assigned projects and technical assignments without detailed instructions.
