Position Summary

As a Technical Business Analyst, you’ll thrive in a highly collaborative environment, working with Software Developers, Product Managers, and Quality Assurance to drive the elicitation, analysis, documentation, and management of software development requirements. Overall, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our projects align with company strategy and deliver significant business value.Ideal candidates will have experience working as a Business Analyst either in a software development company or with complex proprietary software in a highly regulated industry. 

 

This is a Remote role, with the preference of candidates being within Eastern/Central time zone. 

What you'll do as a Technical Business Analyst:
  • Advocate Best Practices: Pioneer and maintain standards for good business analysis practices across the organization.
  • Deep Analysis: Conduct thorough and detailed analysis of complex business problems, focusing on legacy e-commerce products.
  • Process Mapping: Utilize strong process mapping skills to ensure clarity and alignment with business goals.
  • Feature Management: Produce and maintain high-quality feature requests to drive the product roadmap.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Software Development and Quality Assurance teams to ensure technical compatibility and feasibility.
  • User Engagement: Actively engage users throughout the development process to capture real-time feedback and adjust project direction as needed.
  • Stakeholder Management: Maintain effective communication and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Project Management: Proactively manage projects, ensuring effective planning, scheduling, and delivery within time and budget constraints.
  • Risk Mitigation: Prepare realistic project plans, monitor progress, and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies.

The Experience, Skilles and Abilities needed:

To be considered and to be successful in this role you will need the following years of experience and education:

  • A Bachelors Degree or higher with a minimum 3 years experience as a Business Analyst or similar. 

 

In addition, you will have the following 3+ years experience, expertise, skills, and abilities:

  • At least 3 years of experience in a Technical Business Analysis role or similar.
  • Proficiency in business analysis methodologies and principles.
  • Experience with agile and/or waterfall methodologies throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Strong skills in process mapping, modeling business processes, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of translating between technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Analytical and critical thinking approach with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Highly organized with strong time management skills and adaptability to changing demands.
  • Collaborative team player with a positive attitude and a passion for continuous improvement.
  • Accountability and integrity in all work, aligning with company values.
  • Experience in software development for healthcare or pharma settings is desirable.

 Pay range for this opportunity is $67,750.00 - $94,762.50.

 

Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed.  Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.
