Your missions

This is a remote position.

Role Responsibilities
  • Oversee accounting operations of all companies-Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger accounts.
  • Formulate and review the company's financial budget, financial forecasting and reporting any variances.
  • Develop and maintain detailed financial models and forecasts.
  • Preparing monthly financial statements, management reports and reporting to the management.
  • Coordinate the management of cash flow, debt and debt collection-Interest payables and receivable management of the company and reporting the positions on weekly basis.
  • Monitor and control overhead expenditure and report variances on a monthly basis.
  • Streamline and improve all operations and accounting systems.
  • Any other ad-hoc requests from the Principals


Requirements

Essential Skills, Knowledge & Experience 

  • Degree in Accounting or Finance and CIMA/ ACCA/ CA.
  • Minimum 4-5 years in experience in similar capacity.
  • Competency in using SAGE/XERO is mandatory.
  • Prior experience working in banking/ lending sector would be an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel skills and MS office packages.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in accounting & finance regulations, concepts, and best practices.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial forecasting and budgeting.
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to possess a good command of English and a positive approach towards working as a team.
  • Sense of accountability and responsibility towards your work.

  • General Work Hours: 12.30PM to 9.30PM Sri Lanka Time – 45hrs/week
