Job Description:

Discover will not sponsor or transfer employment work visas for this position. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Is responsible for enabling business partners across the enterprise to perform changes in a thoughtful, consistent, and reliable manner to prevent consumer harm. This role will partner with and support Initiative Owners and others managing change across the enterprise. This highly visible role will play a critical part in driving quality so that Discover can reduce risk, better serve customers, and spend more capacity on strategic work rather than fixing errors. Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Supporting change and driving continuous improvement and transparency to end users.                     

  • Monitor the implementation of change and respective frameworks.                                             

  • Ensuring that Issues and Corrections from monitoring are completed satisfactorily and on time. 

  • Participating in forums for change process owners and Change Management toolkit users to introduce updates, collect feedback, and share best practices.                                            

  • Determining the proper level of change management for a given project and helping end users navigate the process.                 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 4+ years Project Management, Computer Science, Infrastructure Technology Solutions, or related experience                                          

  • 6+ years Project Management, Computer Science, Infrastructure Technology Solutions, or related experience             

  • In Lieu of Education Experience 6+ years of Project Management, Computer Science, Infrastructure Technology Solutions, or related experience       

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Agile and/ or Kanban, PMP Certification

Compensation:

The base pay for this position generally ranges between $75,500.00 to $127,900.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
