Job Description

Manager Implementation IFS Finance

We are seeking a highly experienced Manager Implementation IFS Finance to join our global team. This pivotal role involves leading the team of IFS Finance BPE’s (10+FTE) during the global IFS implementation in Fugro. You will work in close collaboration with Global BPOs and BPEs in the Financial Operations team, the IFS Implementation team, and other function BPO’s (Procurement, HR, Project Management). The ideal candidate is a seasoned hands-on Financial with ERP implementation experience and will have a strong understanding of global financial business processes and ERP software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implementation Delivery: Assign global finance team members to the implementation teams and oversee the implementation activities. The largely self-steering rollout teams execute the entire implementation process, from fit-gap analysis, definition of country-specific requirements, company setup, training, testing, cutover and data migration activities, to post-go-live hypercare and first month-end close support.

  • Knowledge Development: Support implementation teams with specific expertise on project control, tax and treasury, or implementation activities like fit-gap, training, or month-end close. Ensure all BPE’s develop an in-depth understanding of the IFS solution, the end-to-end finance processes, and the Fugro-specific business requirements. Develop and improve training materials and other documentation.

  • IFS Solution Development: Responsible for the company setup of all Fugro entities and maintenance and improvement of the global basic data template. Owner of the global basic data template including cost centres, chart of accounts, service lines, and posting controls. Implement an improved company setup strategy for Wave 3 (operating entities) and Wave 4 (non-operating entities) implementations, including further automation of the company creation and maintenance process.

  • Team Management: Involved in hiring, training, and retention of finance personnel and their learning and development.

  • IFS Adoption: Monitor and support the adoption of global IFS processes and the new way of working by providing training and post-go-live support.

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify continuous improvements based on requirements from end users and global and regional finance stakeholders and provide input to the BPO IFS to design solutions.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Audit, or Business Administration.

  • Experience: Expert level in the technical discipline with a strong understanding of ERP (IFS) software, business processes, financial operations, accounting, and business control. Advanced management experience in this job.

  • Skills: Advanced leadership and management skills, accounting experience, and effective communication and interpersonal skills. Expert in change implementation/change management, communication and collaboration, and problem-solving.

  • License/Certification: RA or RC preferred.

  • Languages: Proficient in English.

  • Other: Regular travel for pre-assessments, fit gaps, month-end close, and post-implementation adoption reviews.
