What you'll be doing

Reporting to the Director of Corporate Marketing Operations, this role drives day-to-day management of our marketing technology stack, empowering and enabling our marketing teams to implement, optimize, and expand marketing processes and activations. In addition, this role collaborates on long-term strategies around enabling the next level capabilities of our marketing tools and platforms.

This role will drive cross-team alignment, project management, definition of business and technology capabilities, and business process design/improvement that drives operational efficiencies and advances marketing capabilities for the organization.

Responsibilities:

Technology

  • Function as liaison between Marketing and IT for MarTech projects and initiatives, translating desired outcomes and requirements into achievable results.
  • Partner with Corporate Marketing leads, IT, Business Segment Marketing, and Privacy, to build out a best-in-class MarTech ecosystem
  • Serve as business operations SME for MarTech capabilities, including marketing automation platforms & technologies, web activation and personalization tools, account/CRM structure, and data infrastructure
  • Act as business project owner for the implementation, configuration, management, and enhancement of MarTech stack to optimize performance, processes, and executional capabilities

Project Management
  • Partner with marketing collaborators and IT technology partners to drive requirements and prioritization across multiple marketing teams and cross functional work streams to deliver successful business outcomes
  • Lead business rollout strategies and timelines including determining process changes, evaluating training/change management needs, and aligning cross-marketing teams for successful adoptions of new technology solutions
  • Provide hands on business project management during discovery, design, development, testing, implementation, and post implementation phases
  • Identify potential obstacles and work toward solutions that keep projects within scope and on-time
  • Support testing, transition, and quality assurance approaches
  • Develop and document scalable processes that ensure optimal practices and methodologies in marketing technology and web operations

Strategy
  • Be an advocate and driver for process and platform improvements and efficiency opportunities
  • Inform the road map and strategy for a best-in-class marketing technology stack that supports company goals
  • Support the evaluation of business needs & creation of business cases including applicable expense reduction, sales benefits, and return on investment estimates

What you'll bring
  • Bachelor degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business, or related field
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience leading MarTech initiatives, process improvement and managing projects with a demonstrated history of increasing responsibility
  • Experience implementing and managing marketing/digital automation platforms and technologies, account/CRM structure, and data infrastructure
  • Experience integrating marketing applications with enterprise applications
  • Skilled project leadership, including prioritizing work for self and team, managing and delivering on multiple tasks, and effectively collaborating with others
  • Ability to bridge technical challenges with marketing executional objectives and company goals

Desired Qualifications

Working knowledge of:

  • Planning & implementation of advanced journey orchestration/omnichannel tools
  • Salesforce CRM, Marketing Account Engagement/Cloud, & Marketing Intelligence
  • Acoustic, HubSpot, Adobe Experience Manager, Aquia Drupal, GA4, Matomo, Aprimo Dam, Tableau/Power BI, Big Query
  • Experience with HTML for websites and emails a plus

At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $104,000 - $143,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position is also eligible for discretionary bonuses.
