Position Summary:

Seeking a highly motivated Business Intelligence Analyst who will play a pivotal role in steering a dedicated team of analytics experts to support the reporting needs of the Sales & Marketing functions in our Power Efficiency Solutions (PES) segment. This role is designed for a strategic thinker who is passionate about harnessing data to drive enhanced reporting, insightful analysis, and informed decision-making.

The ideal candidate will work with business leadership to determine needs, provide data insights and enhance business intelligence systems across PES.  Your passion for data governance, creative problem-solving and technical skills will be crucial as you drive continuous improvement, interpret data and provide data driven recommendations and insights to accelerate business strategy and performance.

This position reports directly to the Director of Commercial Excellence for PES North America, while also supporting the needs of the segment’s VP of Sales.  The Commercial Excellence team is responsible for delivering best-in-class capabilities across Commercial Analytics, Lead Generation, Sales Incentives and CRM Management to achieve our growth objectives alongside our Sales Team.

PES is one of three operating segments with approximately $1.7 Billion in revenue and produces electric motors, variable speed controls, and air moving solutions which are sold in the residential heating and ventilating, water heating, commercial refrigeration, pump, leisure water, and other OEM and aftermarket products. Brands include Genteq® motors, as well as Fasco®, Elco®, DEC Star®, Leeson, motor and blowers.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business and IT teams to design, build and deploy BI solutions to commercial needs.
  • Analyze large amounts of information to discover and report on trends and patterns.
  • Create visualizations and reports for requested projects.
  • Conduct testing and troubleshooting of PowerBI solutions.
  • Build continuous improvements and automation to improve existing processes.
  • Support the team as a subject matter expert in PowerBI.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Data Science, Computer Science, Business or related field.
  • 3+ years' experience in business analyst role with a focus on BI
  • Ability to synthesize and effectively communicate performance based upon information from disparate sources.
  • Strong presentation communication skills with the ability to summarize and communicate data clearly and accurately.
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to engage and build value-based relationships at all levels and functions
  • High level of personal initiative, energy and ownership of business results.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work to tight deadlines.

Desired Qualifications: 

  • Power BI certifications.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce.com/Dynamics 365 reporting.
  • Knowledge of data structure best practices - data warehousing, modeling and mining.
  • Project management experience is a plus.

Location:  Milwaukee, WI, Fort Wayne, IN or Remote

Travel: 10% travel primarily North America Regal Rexnord locations

Compensation:

  • Expected Salary: $90-110K/year
  • Please note that compensation is based on a variety of factors when extending offer, including but not limited to, the role, responsibilities, candidate experience, education, qualifications, and business considerations.
