Djangsters is a remote IT consulting company, specializing in complex custom web applications. We offer flexible working hours and a fully remote work environment. Exchange and respect are the core values of our multi-national team.

Daily team communication happens in Slack in the form of a chat or a call. To keep everybody up-to-date with the overall development progress we have regular team calls. Once a year we meet in person to spend together some time full of discussions, coding and fun.

Job Description

The Job:

  • Prepare and discuss technical concepts
  • Develop web applications
  • Write automated test suites
  • Perform code reviews and share knowledge with the team
  • Work in agile environment
  • Write technical documentation, specifications, and user manuals

Qualifications
  • Degree in Computer Science or a similar field
  • 3 years of frontend web development
  • Proficiency in modern JavaScript or TypeScript, frameworks like React, Vue.js
  • Expertise in FE toolchain: npm/pnpm/yarn, vite/webpack/ etc
  • Professional experience with test frameworks like jest
  • Desire to work as part of an agile team
  • Good communication skills
  • Fluent in English
  • Team player

Bonus points

  • Knowledge of JavaScript profiling and performance optimization techniques
  • Experience with modern styling (e.g. css modules, css-in-js)
  • Knowledge of practical dev tools like Storybook, Lighthouse or Figma/Zeplin
  • Fluent in German
  • Can travel to an annual team meeting somewhere in Central Europe
  • Want to write technical articles for the company blog
