The US Equity Research Department at Deutsche Bank is a top provider of sell-side equity research and offers coverage of ~600 companies across 30+ sectors. We seek applicants with the relevant experience, deep industry relationships and current sector expertise.

What You’ll Do
Formulation of stock- and sector-level investment theses
Marketing of those views to internal and external clients
Leveraging relationships with companies under coverage as part of channel checks and due diligence efforts
Organizing ad hoc roadshows, client events and conferences
Data gathering, aggregation and analysis
The role also requires translating quantitative financial conclusions into written form, tables, and charts, which can be included in research reports and distributed to our clients
How You’ll Lead
Maintenance of financial models in support of investment views
Managing junior staff aligned with the sector
On-going authoring and production of written research to promote investment views
Skills You’ll Need
Extensive sector-specific work experience in sell-side equity research, investment banking, private equity and/or investment management
Strong relationships with management teams in coverage sector
Detail-oriented, with strong analytical & graphical skills, demonstrating a solid proficiency in Excel and be able to think logically
Skills That Will Help You Excel
Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken in both writing and interacting with corporates, investors, sales, and internal colleagues
Undergraduate degree with related working research or industry experience
A CFA Charter or progress toward the designation is preferred but not required
A passion for technology would be a plus
Passionate interest in financial markets; collaborative working style; ability to take on projects independently; eagerness to learn and develop in a fast-paced working environment
Expectations
It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York City office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $135K to $250K. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
