Marketing Coordinator

The Marketing Coordinator will focus on marketing the brand throughout the year. This position will be responsible for implementing and overseeing TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® / Lansing, MI in the development and implementation of its marketing, business development, and public relations plans with the ultimate goal of growing revenue and increasing market reach.

What you’ll do:

• Represent the brand at trade shows, events and chamber marketing opportunities

• Visit 15-20 grassroots locations per week storage, realtors, apartments, senior living

• Track and evaluate lead sources through various tools

• Find 1-3 events, sponsorships or charity organizations per quarter to partner with

• Evaluate, document and coordinate all donation requests and community involvement; document resulting PR

• Perform research into our clients' or target market's industries/needs and provide actionable tips and advice for expanding our reach in the digital spaces

• Prepare promotional presentations, promotional items and brochures and order as needed

• Review and edit all external communication

• Distribute marketing materials through attending events, direct mail, grassroots, etc

• Organize and attend marketing events

• Develop social media initiatives and implement effective digital plan for website, blog and social media

• Manage and track online presence: Keep local website updated on a monthly basis and respond to customer reviews as required

• Maintain social media pages, including Instagram and Facebook. 

• Grow social media followers through quality-driven, meaningful content appropriate for our audience

• Track and report financial results/impact of all marketing initiatives; measure return on investment

• Assesses B2B marketing opportunities and target markets

• Develops, implements and reviews B2B sales & budget plan; Tracks sales & budget plan goals

• Initiate and develop relationships with apartment/condo/senior communities, local realtors, mortgage agencies, and other potential customers; set up regular visit schedule for these customers (3-5 per month)

• Tracks and evaluates lead sources through various tools

• Tracks and reports financial results/impact of all B2B initiatives; Measures return on investment

• Initiates and develops relationships with office / property managers, local commercial realtors, and other potential commercial customers

• Develops, distributes and tracks all media releases

• Coordinates and attends networking events

• Coordinate bi-annual competitor B2B mystery shop

• Works with Office Manager & Operation Manager for scheduling and executing all B2B projects

• Effectively delegates any crossover residential moves to appropriate team member

• Provides daily, weekly and monthly reporting of all B2B activities to Franchisee

 

What you bring:

• General knowledge of TWO MEN AND A TRUCK system and practices

• Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within the Marketing field

• Highly creative and motivated

• Ability to work independently

• Friendly, professional, and helpful to callers, co-workers, and visitors

• Exceptional oral and written communication skills; comfortable with public speaking and persuasive in sales situations

• Excellent organizational skills; must be able to multi-task under time constraints

• Must be proficient with the following Microsoft applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Publisher

• Incredible work ethic along with a strong desire to learn along with professional drive and career focused

• Able to multi-task and remain calm under pressure and be a Problem-solver

• Detail oriented; demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and monitors own work to ensure quality

 

Work Location:

This is hybrid based at the Lansing Corporate store.
